Setting:

Well, for the moment, Colorado and present date, 2001. I don’t really understand my fixation with that state for AUs, but it seems to be a good location for this AU. I will probably have stories in this AU in other locations besides Colorado, I’m just having their base be that state. I mean, c’mon, there are mountains, forests, caves, wildlife, snow, Spring thaw, storms, etc. All potential sources for some good ole accidents :} (oh, side note- I’ve never been to Colorado, so excuse mistakes and stuff :} I’m gonna make up cities and stuff)

Concept:

Wouldn’t it be great to have stories of action/adventure/mystery/ suspense/drama without The(poor)Boys having the absolute WORST luck over and over again? If they are Search and Rescue(SAR), they’re in those situations because it’s their job! *rubs hands together while smiling* Oh, the horrors I could(will) think up! >:} Muahahaha!

I am reading up on SAR, survival, and emergency medical assistance, but (obviously) I’m not THAT well read on a lot of this stuff, so bare with me. I’m trying to have the situations and procedures I will create to be as real and believable as I can, BUT... this IS fiction, after all. I just want to give ya’s a good feel for what’s goin’ on :}
